Maltby Centre is the lead regional agency for Mental Health and Autism Services, with an experienced and compassionate team of professionals who provide high quality, community based health and support services to children and youth in Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington (KFL&A). Formerly known as Pathways for Children & Youth, Maltby Centre is a registered charity and not-for-profit agency established in 1996 and funded in part by the Ontario government. Through the work of over 140 dedicated staff, Maltby Centre creates possibilities for change in young lives.

Reporting directly to the Director of Finance & Corporate Services, the Manager of Information Systems is responsible for ensuring the reliability, integrity and sustainability of the information communication technologies at Maltby Centre. This position enables technology solutions in support of the Maltby Centre’s strategic plan while managing daily information systems operations. This position will be responsible for website maintenance and updates. Occasional work in the evenings and on weekends will be required to meet system updates and maintenance needs of the organization.

The ideal candidate has excellent knowledge of management and information systems and infrastructures; technology, software and hardware; networks; servers and an understanding of agency and industry computer applications including EMHWare. Furthermore, an excellent knowledge of legislation governing privacy, security and confidentiality and Ministry guidelines related to statistical gathering, analysis and reporting. Must hold a University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Additionally, a minimum of 5-7 years experience in progressively responsible positions in an information technology development and support capacity is required.

Assets include experience in a supervisory/management role, French Language proficiency, written and verbal and A+, Network+, MCSE, Cisco and VMware certifications.
