In our presentation, we will present key findings from our policy brief emphasizing the importance of the implementation of developmental screening tools for children aged 0-6 years. This policy brief will serve as a tool for healthcare professionals, policymakers, and researchers to improve infant and early mental health outcomes. Our presenters will discuss the policy implications along with key hurdles faced to propose comprehensive recommendations for successful implementation. Through this presentation we aim to generate awareness and provide a roadmap for policymakers and stakeholders to navigate the neglected terrain of infant and early mental health. By prioritizing early identification and intervention, we can unlock the full potential of every child, regardless of their background or circumstances.

This presentation serves as a call to action to prioritize the implementation of developmental screening tools for children aged 0-6 years. By disseminating our recommendations and policy implications from the policy brief, we can ensure that no child is left behind. Together, we can pave the way for a brighter future, where every child thrives, fulfills their potential, and contributes to the betterment of society.
