For the 2024 pre-conference session, CMHO is pleased to bring you provincial and sector work and approaches rooted in system design and change in child and youth mental health. Together, we are at a pivotal moment in child and youth mental health and addictions with unprecedented opportunities to move forward provincial system work including access, quality, equity and better outcomes in the sector.
In September, CMHO launched its new Strategic Plan 2024–2027, Together for a Better Tomorrow: Infants, Children, Youth and Families First. Our strategic planning process included extensive consultations that have formed the directions we will take as an organization, in collaboration with sector and system partners. Today’s session will be the first of ongoing engagement to build on the three directions within the new strategic plan. We look forward to working with you to dig deeper by exploring challenges, opportunities and better understanding outstanding questions in child and youth mental health and addictions system work.
